International Assessment Standards
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 165 national standards bodies.
It brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
Since its beginning it has developed more than 24000 product/ process/ technical/ system standards. Apart from its infamous QMS standards (SIO9001:2015), OTIFAS systems are aligned with the following standards for our certification processes.
ISO/IEC 17024:2012 CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT — GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR BODIES OPERATING CERTIFICATION OF PERSONS: Contains principles and requirements for a body certifying persons against specific requirements, and includes the development and maintenance of a certification scheme for persons.
ISO/IEC 17011:2017 CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT — REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCREDITATION BODIES ACCREDITING CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT BODIES: Specifies requirements for the competence, consistent operation and impartiality of accreditation bodies assessing and accrediting conformity assessment bodies. This is the reference standard we use for accrediting our training providers and associates.
ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT — REQUIREMENTS FOR BODIES PROVIDING AUDIT AND CERTIFICATION OF MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS Contains principles and requirements for the competence, consistency and impartiality of bodies providing audit and certification of all types of management systems.
